The exemplary literature & poetry department offers a variety of programs meant to encourage creators from the literature world to present their writings publicly. In doing so, their work receives great resonance in the literature world. The committee members who screen the various submissions consist of experts from the literature world such as scholars and artists. These experts also contribute to the Israeli Center of Libraries by initiating new programs if needed
Examples of projects initiated by the committee:
The enterprise of exemplary literature translation, poetry, research and reference books, the "Archive" project, Hebrew Literature in audio and the Video Archive.
